Binayak Bandyopadhyay who is widely accepted as one of the most promising young poets of India is now also regarded as the changing face of Bengali fiction. Binayak has received several awards for his poems and novels including the prestigious West Bengal Bangla Academy Shakti Chattopadhyay award and Sharmila Ghosh literary award. Binayak has more than 25 novels and 16 poetry collections to his credit. He represented India and Bangla language in the International Writers Programme IOWA, USA, in 2014.
